Our caulking meets the requirements of home renovation grant programs. We caulk every opening the program requires, and we give you the paperwork you'll need for your application.

Roof insulation and caulking: up to $1,500
Hydro-Québec's LogisVert program offers up to $1,500, depending on eligibility, for the "roof insulation and caulking" measure. It combines two jobs: roof insulation, done by the contractor of your choice, and caulking, which we do to the program's requirements. Combined, the two jobs qualify.

Main conditions
- The roof is insulated to at least R-50 (RSI 8.8), over 100% of its surface.
- The caulking addresses all air leaks: windows, exterior doors, patio doors, attic hatch, and the other items listed by the program.
- The house is heated mainly with electricity (single-family, semi-detached, row house, mobile home or cottage).
- The assistance is granted only once per dwelling.
- The work is done by a business registered with the Registraire des entreprises and holding the appropriate RBQ licence.

- We are a private contractor holding an RBQ licence. We are neither mandated nor accredited by any assistance program.
- You, the owner, apply directly to the program, after the work is done.
- Eligibility and the amount depend on your situation and on the program rules, which can change without notice. No amount is guaranteed.
- The programs never solicit by phone or door to door. Be wary of anyone who claims to speak on their behalf.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to do the insulation with you?
No. Roof insulation is a separate job: hire the contractor of your choice, for example Région Isolation, the other division of SLT Construction. Combined with the insulation, our caulking qualifies.
Who applies?
You, the owner, directly with the program, after the work. We give you the caulking invoice with the information the program requires.
Are there other grants?
Yes, depending on the work, such as the Rénoclimat program for insulation. The same work can't be paid for by two programs. During the assessment, we tell you which ones may apply to your project.
