What is the steel mesh for?

A rodent can chew through sealant or foam. Steel mesh placed in the opening, then sealed, blocks its way.

Do you do extermination?

No. We close the entry points. If mice or insects are already living in the house, call an exterminator first; we come afterwards to seal the access points.

Can it be done at the same time as the window caulking?

Yes. We go around the house once: joints at the openings, weatherstripping and pest entry points.
